About Angela...W It was 1990 when an 8-year-old Angela began watching her dad, John Samanick convert his street car, a blue 1985 Mustang GT, into a race-only car. At that time, his street-stang was capable of running 12 second passes on motor and 10.90s on nitrous. A tiny Angela was intrigued by its power and speed. Over the following years her interest grew and she wanted to be involved in its progress and upkeep. Yet being a father, a husband and a businessman, John found fewer and fewer hours to devote to the Mustang he loved and the track that had given him so much pleasure. Although not the typical family quality time, the two began working together on a passion they both enjoyed, bringing them closer than many teenage daughters and their fathers. Working together on a parallel passion, they have won far more than titles, trophies or recognition; they've gained an unbreakable bond. Angela's racing experience began with racing her stock 1990 Mustang LX in High School Eliminator for 2 seasons at Raceway Park in Englishtown. She began racing the 1985 GT in a bracket class called Mean Street in the 2001 season, and continued with the class into 2002. She also ran NMRA Open Comp at Maple Grove '01 and '02 and at Atco '01. In June 2002 Angela is an honor student at Monmouth University, majoring in Accounting. She is currently using her accounting and business knowledge to help manage the Jacs Racing business. Right now she is also working part-time at an auto parts store. Angela plans to use her accounting knowledge and her experience working one day in the accounting work environment to help expand the Jacs Racing business.
