Cindy Crawford, driver/owner, is southern female with winning on her mind. She is 42 years of age, mother of two grown children, grandmother of three children and daughter of a stock car racer. She is a down-to-earth type girl who is highly regarded in the racing community. She is very competitive and a warm, honest and caring individual. She is a non-smoker, non-drinker and a wonderful role model for women and children who would like to follow in her footsteps. She races her 1998 Mustang GT droptop with a SHM Cobra long block. It was dynoed at 659 horsepower. Cindy will be a featured racer at the Annual "Women in Racing" event being held July 29, 2002 at the Michigan Speedway. It is hosted by the Women's Automotive Association International and should be a wonderful experience for her.

In Drag Racing; She has been racing competitively for four years running in the Fun Ford Circuit held by American Autosports and the NMRA (National Mustang Racer's Association)/NOS Ford Drag Racing Series. These races are sanctioned by NHRA & IHRA and are Ford heads up pro-tree drag racing. She attends the All Ford events, including the Ford Power Festival, Hot Rod Sunday and the Citrus Nationals which are televised.
Honours; Automotive journalists have recognized Cindy's racing abilities. Her racing efforts received extensive coverage from Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords magazine (they covered a four-page photo shoot in March 2000), Super Ford, 5.0 magazine, newspapers, over 24 websites where she was their Featured Racer or Racer of the Month. She has been interviewed and featured on the T.V. show "My Classic Car" which aired on TNN's Speedvision in February 2000.
Watch for Cindy's DRAG RACING BOOK; Cindy has written her own book on drag racing which will be published in late summer of the year 2002. This book is about the basics of drag racing, the race track, racing tips, procedures, safety, modifications, women in racing, sponsorship, etc.
