It was a hot weekend at Darknights, we all spent days cleaning our cars only to be covered with dust one minute after driving through the Markham Fairgrounds, "Hot and dusty!" Even though the heat was intense and making everyone a little drowsy, the atmosphere was great, a lot of hot cars, imports, domestics even trucks! Watching the low riders competition was entertaining and seeing the little RC cars race was amusing. SDR.com got a lot of attention from people gathering around wondering who we were and where did we come from?! Stephanie's hot Panasonic Celica drew a lot of attention, and loads of people were crowded around Sarah's civic as well as my own. Sarah had just custom painted her interior and added a pair of sleek and sexy looking eyelids to her peppy little Si. I had some Tech talk concerning my newly installed engine components with a few people which proved intellectually stimulating. Overall we were all pleased with the response we has from the public, it was a fun experience and hope to participate in further events in the coming future. Except for a really bad tan, and painful sunburns we all enjoyed ourselves and the chance to show off our cars,  loads of enjoyment!
